Another key matchup this week is definitely one that has a lot of people talking, as we head into another week in the NFL. This time around look for the Seattle Seahawks to get a little more than they bargained for with the Houston Texans.

Free Prediction Given by SportsCashSystem.com lead handicapper, Mike Taylor

Current line: The Houston Texans +2 ½ / Over & Under at 47 ½

Time:  Sunday, September 29, 1:00 pm (EST) FOX, NFL Red Zone

At first glance this is going to be an easy game to pick, the Seattle team is on a run that is definitely a great one. They have all the tools to dismantle teams and Pete Carroll has been just as dominate in the Northwest as he was when coaching the dominating USC Trojans for a few years. Long gone are his days of floundering success in the NFL, as he is leading an incredible team overall.

The Texans on the other hand aren’t brilliant, but they can certainly hit hard on defense and have some nice moves on offense. That being said, they didn’t seem to showcase much of that against the Baltimore Ravens. They played terrible on special teams and the Ravens made them pay. The Texans seemed to have fallen asleep at the wheel in their game against the Baltimore Ravens and they have to make sure they don’t do that. Seattle can smell weakness and will definitely make Houston pay if they do not play at their best, even with injuries looming.

The Match Up:

Seattle has lost a few guys on the defensive side of things to injury. The Houston team is banged up as well. However, the two teams should have enough of a depth chart to alleviate some key spots. Even though there are some upsides to the Houston Texans, the Seattle team is definitely one to watch here. Russell Wilson is definitely poised to show off yet another great performance and expect Marshawn Lynch to run very well in this game. However, even with all that, we’re going to side with the Houston Texans knocking down the Seahawks a peg. There is going to be an interesting change in the Texans and it’s going to start with their performance against Seattle this weekend. Watch for Houston + 2 ½ get the win.

The Edge:
