The Eagles sure shocked a lot of people last week, especially with Michael Vick on the sidelines. It seemed like they were near perfect in their win, and while they were previously going to face a Green Bay Packers team that could very well take them on and make a game of it, it was announced that Aaron Rodgers has an injury and could in fact change everything.

From the air, on the ground, and on special teams, the Philadelphia Eagles seemed to be a whole different outfit during week 9 and are definitely going into this week with a new sense of hope against the Packers. The Eagles have covered their last three games away from their home turf and have even covered the spread, so it might be important to consider that and drop some coin on them winning. Before you rush out, though, take into account that the Green Bay Packers aren’t slouches, they have a good defensive scheme that could prove to be the ticket to getting a “W” here.
Nick Foles completely blew away analysts, and the Raiders were reduced to going back to another mediocre team in the league. The bright spots that the Oakland Raiders have seem to go away when they put their guard down, and it seemed like they were looking past Nick Foles, whom was coming back from an injury during their game.
The Match Up:
If you’re looking at this game on paper, you’re going to see that the Eagles haven’t exactly blown everyone away, however, they are not playing a powerhouse this week, they are going to be playing a banged up team that could very well see them getting dropped off easily. It’s hard to determine where the Eagles will land this week, but the Packers do have upside, even without Aaron Rodgers in the huddle. In theory, he could very well surprise everyone and show up to showcase why he’s a future hall of famer, but it may not be enough to sway the smart pick. We’re going to go with Philadelphia -2, even though many have this one as even.
