BetDSI.com has your NHL betting lines and picks for February 19 with the videos appearing below.

Columbus Blue Jackets Just as Good on the Road

The Columbus Blue Jackets are not going to make the playoffs this season but they have been competitive on the road this season. In fact, their road mark is just as good as their home mark. And since Columbus is almost always an underdog on the road they have actually been profitable to bet on even though they have a losing record. The Blue Jackets are averaging 2.6 goals per game and allowing 3.1 goals per contest. They went under the hockey betting total in 15 of their first 26 games this season. The team could be a seller at the upcoming trading deadline because they are out of the playoff race so they may be a team to go against in coming weeks.

Pittsburgh Penguins Continue to Surprise Defensively

The Pittsburgh Penguins are not the high flying Penguins of past years. They are still good on offense as they average 2.9 goals per game but they are not leading the league. They are only allowing 2.5 goals per contest which is in the top 10 in the league in fewest goals allowed. And because the oddsmaker and the public still think of the Penguins as a high scoring team, they continue to go under the NHL betting number. The Penguins went under the total 32 times, over 21 times and had 3 games land on the number in their first 56 games this season.
