NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game 2014 Betting Odds – Possible Matchups

Carrie Stroup here and Sportsbook.com has just released NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship Game 2014 betting odds for possible matchups. These odds can be found here.

Florida vs. Wisconsin had odds of Gators -4.5.

Florida vs. Kentucky had odds of Gators -3

Wisconsin vs. UConn had the Badgers as a -3 favorite.

Kentucky vs. UConn had the Wildcats as a -4.5 favorite.

Gambling911.com reviewed its own power ratings to determine how accurate these lines might be.  There is no home court advantage here being that this game will take place in Arlington, Texas.

As one might expect, there is some shading with number one seed Florida.

We have the line Florida -2 against Wisconsin, but leaning more towards -1.5.

We are a little bit surprised to find that oddsmakers have the line a half point under what it should be in the Gators-Wildcats game.  We see Florida -3.5 here.

Wisconsin vs. UConn should be around Badgers -4.

Kentucky vs. UConn should only have the Wildcats as a -1 favorite and, as such, Connecticut should be able to cover this line, assuming they make it into the Championship.
