MLB Betting Lines – Three Free Picks: Houston 1-10 vs. Washington

Last night was an absolute heart breaker as we were on the Phillies/Braves UNDER 6.5.  Heading into the 13th inning with a score of 1-1, the visiting Phillies managed to score 5 more runs.  Ouch!!!  This is why we never take for granted extra innings even when the game looks impossible for us to lose.

Today we will be on the Angels/Indians UNDER 9.5 with the first of our picks.  Only two of the last 10 games in this series have managed to go OVER that number. The UNDER is also 41-19-1 in the last 61 meetings between these two teams.

Indians RH Josh Tomlin (4-3, 3.33) had a shaky outing his last time starting in Boston, allowing a season-high 9 hits and 4 runs.  We expect to have him bounce back at home.  He is 1-1 with a 3.48 ERA vs. the Angels.

Angels RH Matt Shoemaker (3-1, 4.19 ERA) is the other starting pitcher.  He is 3-0 with a 3.76 ERA in five starts.

Our second play of the day will be on the Washington Nationals -134, a price found at BetDSI.com.  They will face Houston on Tuesday.

The Astros are playing well of late as they inch back towards the .500 mark.  This has helped keep the price relatively low for Washington, which will look to bounce back after being swept on the road in St. Louis.

Nationals RH Tanner Roark (5-4, 2.92) is 2-3 in six starts at home despite posting a 1.55 ERA.

Astros LH Dallas Keuchel (8-3, 2.38 ERA) has won six of his last seven starts, allowing fewer than three runs in each victory.

And finally we will be on the Mets/Cardinals UNDER 7.5.

Six of the last seven meetings in this series have stayed UNDER the current number.

The UNDER is 8-1-2 in St. Louis' last 11 overall.

Mets LH Jonathon Niese (3-3, 2.54 ERA) hasn't won in his last four starts yet he hasn't allowed more than 2 runs in any of those games.  He is also 4-1 with a 1.87 ERA in six starts against St. Louis.

Cardinals RH Michael Wacha (4-5, 2.88) has lost his last two starts after not taking the loss for over a month.  In fact, he did not allow more than three runs in any of his first 13 starts. Wacha is 1-1 with a 3.60 ERA in two starts against the Mets.

The UNDER is 10-1-3 in Niese's last 14 starts with 4 days of rest and 13-4-4 in his last 21 starts following a Quality Start in his last appearance.  The UNDER is 15-5-1 in Niese's last 21 starts vs. National League Central and 20-7-6 in his last 33 starts as an underdog of +110 to +150.
