Blue Jays/Orioles UNDER 8 - The Blue Jays LH J.A. Happ (9-10, 4.28 ERA) has only won once in nine tries, but don't be fooled, he's only permitted three runs or fewer in nine of those starts and just came off a hard-luck 1-0 defeat against Tampa Bay.
On August 7, Happ struck out a career-best 12 in a season-high eight frames but still walked away with a 2-1 loss.
The Orioles RH Bud Norris (13-8, 3.74) is unbeaten over his last four starts and defeated the Blue Jays on August 5, allowing just two runs. He is now 3-0 lifetime against them.
If we were to get a really good price on Happ, we’d probably take it just to boost our profit margin, but for the sake of these picks we will stick with what we think is a “safe” bet on the UNDER as this series has gone UNDER 7 of the last 9 times.
