The Phillies RH Kyle Kendrick (8-11, 4.77) enjoyed a strong start his last outing but permitted at least four runs in three of his previous five starts.
Free Pick – Braves/Nationals UNDER 7:
The Nationals RH Doug Fister (12-6, 2.66) has struggled over his last three starts but, prior to this, had gone 7-1 starting with a win against Atlanta in which he enjoyed an eight inning shutout against the Braves. Atlanta has only scored more than three runs in six of their last eight games.
The Braves LH Mike Minor (6-9, 4.65 ERA) has not allowed more than three earned runs in any of his past five starts and received a no-decision in his only start against the Nationals this season, allowing two runs.
