The Tigers have dropped their past two games and now they are out of the race to win the American West division. Memphis had a chance to win last week at Houston but came up a point short in a 35-34 loss. The Tigers blew a 20-point lead in the defeat. "There are a lot of plays in the game that ultimately determine the outcome," Memphis coach Justin Fuente said. "It wasn't the last play, and it wasn't first play. There was just a bunch. Both teams were out there battling, competing. We came up a little short." The Tigers are scoring almost 44 points per game while allowing 29 points per contest. Temple Owls 8-2 SU, 7-3 ATS

The Owls are coming off a bad loss to South Florida but unlike Memphis, the Owls are in good shape in their division as they are a game in front of South Florida for first place. If Temple wins out they will take the East.
