The Tennessee Titans are a hard hitting team and are favored right now. The Jaguars have shown moments of greatness, but those are drowned out by getting pummeled and beaten across football fields this season. They are coming off a bye week, which is something that you’ll have to consider as a good thing. Gus Bradley is going to have to do something drastic to turn this team around and after a week off, could they be the surging team that takes out the Titans? The Titans are fairly decent on the football, but they are no Denver Broncos. The Broncos easily routed the Jaguars after what seemed like an upset brewing.
The Titans are coming off of a win against the St. Louis Rams and have been doing well for themselves, on the ground. Look for Damian Williams to be the wild card again, as he’ll definitely get some yardage against a Jaguars defense that can’t seem to control the run after some time. If the Titans pound away at the middle, this is going to be a blow out in the fourth quarter. ESPN has given the Titans a good position, ranking them amidst the pack that is going to contend for the wildcard spot in the playoffs. If they can manage to take out the Jaguars, than look for them in the post season.
The Match Up:
On the surface, this is not a game that the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to have an easy going movement through. You’ll find that there are going to be points of glory, perhaps early on, especially with a refreshed mindset, but in the long term, it will be Titans all the way to the “W”. It’s just too hard to not pick the Titans here, even if they are middle of the road, they have upside. Go with the Titans at – 11.
