Those of you looking for a solid starting pitching option today for your Daily Fantasy MLB roster, look no further than J.A. Happ of the Seattle Mariners.

Happ has managed to maintain a .217 ERA versus the current Astros roster, allowing just 13 hits off of 60 at bats.  Just 7 extra base hits and 3 homeruns were permitted over this time as well.

Happ gave up three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out five in six innings Tuesday against the Giants.  ESPN.com notes that Happ actually went deeper into Tuesday's game than winning pitcher Tim Lincecum, but the Mariners' offense did not provide him enough run support for him to get a win to pair with his quality start. The lefty's recent performance and his advanced numbers suggest he is a true-talent 3.50-3.80 ERA level pitcher, meaning he has plenty of value in deeper leagues. Seattle is a -130 favorite here and the home team has won nine of the last ten games in this series. – Dan Shapiro, Gambling911.com
