Free MLB Pick for August 14 – Gambling911 on 18-6 Run

It was a nail biter last night as both our picks results had to be determined in overtime.  Ultimately, Cincinnati beat the Cubs, resulting in a win for Gambling911.com.  But after 14 innings, we didn’t quite crack the 8 runs needed for an OVER in the Pirates/Cardinals game.  Instead, the number landed on 7.

Today we are on the Pittsburgh Pirates as a +107 underdog at BetOnline.

While the Cardinals have won their last two games against Pittsburgh, the Pirates had won 6 straight games against St. Louis prior to this time.

Francisco Liriano is 2-0 when starting against St. Louis with an ERA of 1.93 and a WHIP of 0.857.  His team's record is 2-0 (+2.1 units) in these starts.

Liriano got destroyed in his last start against Colorado but has pitched well otherwise this season.  In fact, he had won three straight starts and permitted two runs or fewer in eight of his previous nine outings.

Shelby Miller is 0-2 when starting against Pittsburgh with an ERA of 3.86 and a WHIP of 1.457.

St. Louis is 2-9 in their last 11 games as a favorite while the Pirates are 6-2 in their last 8 games as an underdog.
