Cincinnati Reds -101 - Reds RH Homer Bailey (11-10, 3.40 ERA) vs. Pirates RH A.J. Burnett (8-11, 3.43)

Bailey is on fire of late, having won six straight.  He hasn’t lost since July 26.

Cincinnati is 10-4 in Bailey’s last 14 starts vs. Pittsburgh.  They have won 4 of the last 6 vs. Pittsburgh.

Burnett is 4-4 with a 2.35 ERA at home, surrendering three earned runs or fewer in all 13 starts at PNC Park.

St. Louis Cardinals -135 - Cardinals RH Lance Lynn (13-10, 4.18 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Yovani Gallardo (11-9, 4.29)

While a little bit on the pricey side (most books were offering -140 or higher), St. Louis is 13-4 against Milwaukee so far this season.

Milwaukee is 3-14 in Gallardo’s last 17 starts vs. St. Louis.

St. Louis is 7-1 in the last 8 meetings in Milwaukee.

The Cardinals are 10-4 in their last 14 overall.

Lynn pitched poorly against Milwaukee his last start and hasn’t had a win since August 4 despite some impressive outings.

Kansas City Royals +100 - Rangers RH Matt Garza (3-5, 4.94 ERA) vs. Royals RH Jeremy Guthrie (14-11, 4.08)

Hard to pass this one up when Garza is 1-5 starting against KANSAS CITY with an ERA of 3.83 and a WHIP of 1.378.

Garza has also been torched as of late.  He has allowed four or more earned runs in seven of his last nine outings and hasn’t gone beyond 4.5 innings during that period.

Guthrie is 9-4 at home and has only allowed 9 home runs in 15 starts pitching in Kansas City.

The Royals DH Billy Butler is 8-for-20 against Garza.
