Free Baseball Pick – August 9: Gambling911.com is on 13-2 Run

Gambling911.com hopes to build on its 13-2 run as we head into Friday night with another FREE Baseball pick.

Detroit -110 at SportsBetting.com vs. New York Yankees – Be sure to bet this one at SportsBetting since some books had this one over -120.

Detroit is looking for its 13th straight win against a team that has lost 4 straight.  The Tigers have also won 6 of the last 7 in this series.

Rick Porcello is 3-3 when starting against the New York Yankees and has an  ERA of 4.79 and a WHIP of 1.355.  But more importantly, Ivan Nova is just 0-3 when starting against a Detroit team that is on fire right now.  Against Detroit, he has an ERA of 9.87 and a WHIP of 2.020.  His team's record is 1-3 in these starts.

Porcello (8-6 this season) has gone 4-0 in his last five starts, yielding a total of seven runs in 33 innings during this time.  Nova (5-4 this season) has also only allowed 7 runs over his last five starts.

If not for how well these pitchers have fared in recent games, we might also be on the OVER since the OVER is 10-4 in the last 14 meetings in New York and the OVER is 8-2 in Nova’s last 10 starts as an underdog.

We will just stick with Detroit -110 here.
