Gambling911.com has your daily fantasy pitchers and MLB betting prospects for Saturday April 11.  Yesterday’s options turned out to be some excellent choices for both daily fantasy players and bettors alike.

Best Bets: Cardinals/Reds OVER 6.5,

Best DFS Pitcher Picks:  Dillon Gee

At first glance it would appear as if Dan Haren got crushed against Tampa Bay Friday night following a 10-9 final result in which the Marlins ultimately did win as a -119 favorite recommended by Gambling911.com.  In reality, Haren played no roll in that free for all.  He had held Tampa Bay to a one-score home run before being relieved at the top of the 7th inning.  His departure was followed by the Rays scoring 7 runs in that inning.

Jason Vargas and Tim Lincecum were two other hot pitchers we threw your way last night and both came through with flying colors.  Only Vargas ended up with a win despite all three starters having solid efforts.

Today we will look at Michael Wacha $7.9K of St. Louis, Dillon Gee $6.8K of the Mets and Ubaldo Jiminez $6.2K of the Orioles.

The Mets face Atlanta with a total of just 6.5, suggesting few runs will be scored in this game.  There was indeed a stretch last season where six of seven meetings between these two teams resulted in runs scored of 6 or less.

Atlanta comes into this game as a -117 home favorite even though Gee was a sick 2-0 against Atlanta with a 1.98 ERA last season.  He is 6-4 in 14 lifetime starts against Atlanta with a 2.79 ERA.

While Atlanta’s bullpen has been solid, New York is without its top closer and the Mets bullpen remains vulnerable.   The Mets have still managed to hold opposing teams to 3 or fewer runs in three of their last four outings.   Gee is certainly a good option for Daily Fantasy enthusiasts, especially at the $6.8K price point.

1-2 St. Louis will face off against a 4-0 red hot Reds team.  Cincinnati was listed as a -122 home favorite starting Johnny Cueto.

Wacha boasts a 1-1 record with 24 strikeouts and a 2.30 ERA in 31.1 innings against the Reds despite a disappointing 5-6 showing last season.

The key point for bettors here is St. Louis going 2-9 in Wacha’s last 11 road starts when we have a total set at 6.5.   Cincinnati has scored five runs in three of their first four starts making for an outstanding OVER play here today.

Lastly we look at Ubaldo Jiminez priced at $6.2K.  This game features a total of 8 skewed towards 8.5.   Seven of the last ten games in this series have gone UNDER that number.

The Orioles have scored 5 or more runs in three of their first four starts.  Toronto has scored 6 or more runs in three of their first four starts.  It is easy to see why this game could go OVER 8.

That said, the Orioles' current roster is a combined 0-for-10 with four strikeouts against Sanchez, but no one has more than three plate appearances against him.

Daily fantasy players and bettors alike should stay away from this game.
