The St. Louis Rams are going to be facing a serious team this weekend when they take on the Indianapolis Colts. The Rams are not exactly looking stellar at this point, and will be headed into hostile territory at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts look good overall when facing the Rams at home and will once again shine under Andrew Luck’s good overall gameplay. Look for the Rams to try and contain him, and possibly even trap him early on, but it’s going to be a long game for St. Louis as the mobile quarterback has one heck of an arm. St. Louis hasn’t won their previous 3 games, and most recently lost to the Titans in their home town. Zack Stacy will need to have a good game, and Kellen Clemens will need to rely heavily on a mix of offense that is actually hitting on point. He was 20 for 35 in their loss against the Titans, and that’s not going to be good enough against the Colts.
Indianapolis has looked great overall and will definitely want to start fast and furious this time around. The Colts have a tendency to start slow, but once in gear, they are quite good and will once again prove to be another team that will most likely clinch a post season birth. The Rams will have to do a lot better than they have been, and most likely will drop off big time, giving the Colts a blowout victory this time around.
The Match Up:
The Reams are not exactly a great team, but they can impose a threat. They are ranked 23 and 22, respectively in terms of yardage, and scoring. The Rams are also 20th in scoring, which doesn’t sound very good at first glance, but they have managed to squeeze through a few victories here and there. The Rams are going to have to do a lot to win this one, but it will most likely be a sour note, as the Colts have a -9 jump on the odds.
