The most wagered on side this week of any College Football game is Notre Dame at 75% but one must be careful here as the books have reacted by trying to drive more action towards FSU.  This line has fallen from -11.5 to -10.  Some books left this game on the board while Jameis Winston’s status was still questionable.  We would not touch this game with a 12-foot pole.

Kansas State was at +11 and the line has moved all the way down to +7 as books try desperately to drive action towards the Sooners.

If you are looking to bet this spread, it’s probably best to go with the public although we tend to shy away from public bets.

The books will be heavily exposed Saturday should Notre Dame, Baylor, Kansas State or Michigan State cover the spread.

There is nothing that stands out for us so Week 8 will be without any official picks from Gambling911.com.

BetOnline.ag does have some of its own picks on Week 8 College Football games below, all are Against The Spread or ATS.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ Florida State Seminoles

Odds: Florida State -12

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are the sixth ranked team in the country at the moment, yet they're still 12-point underdogs against the former number one. The Seminoles have already beaten two ranked teams this season, but both have been by single digits, including an overtime victory over the Clemson Tigers. The Seminoles simply aren't as good as they were last year, especially on the defensive side of the ball, which will open the door for the Irish and Heisman candidate Everett Golson. Golson and Jameis Winston will be the story lines of this Saturday afternoon match-up, but the Irish are the smart pick as they'll give the Seminoles a tough game and either lose by single-digits, or walk away victorious.

Pick: Notre Dame

Texas A&M Aggies @ Alabama Crimson Tide

Odds: Alabama -13

The Alabama Crimson Tide are heavy favorites as the Texas A&M Aggies have dropped their last two games, albeit it was to the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels. The Tide will present a bigger challenge, however, as their running attack is one of the best in the nation and quarterback Blake Sims has supplanted himself as the starter for the foreseeable future. The Aggies have their own lights-out passing attack, but Kenny Hill has thrown five interceptions in his last two games and will have to step-up if he hopes to prevent the Aggies from losing three straight games to ranked opponents.

Pick: Alabama

Oklahoma State Cowboys @ TCU Horned Frogs

Odds: TCU -9

In the Big 12 match-up of the week the red-hot Oklahoma State Cowboys take on the 12th ranked TCU Horned Frogs a week after they were involved in a high-scoring affair with the Baylor Bears. TCU showed last week they can put points on the board – they finished with 58 points – but they also let up 61 and were unable to complete the upset that seemed inevitable after the first half. Now they'll face another offensive-minded squad as the Cowboys average 37 points and 420 yards per game. Daxx Garman has done a great job at quarterback replacing the injured J.W. Walsh, but the Cowboys don't have enough talent to contend with the Horned Frogs, meaning the smart money is on the home team.

Pick: TCU

Stanford Cardinal @ Arizona State Sun Devils

Odds: Stanford -4

Stanford has quickly fallen out of the playoff race as they lost to the USC Trojans in Week 2, and then fell in another close battle to the Notre Dame Irish a few weeks later. They're still looking for their first win over a ranked opponent this season, and if it doesn't come this weekend against the #17 Arizona State Sun Devils their season will be all but over. The Sun Devils have the ninth-ranked passing attack in the country, but the success of their offense will hinge on the shoulder of senior Taylor Kelly, a three year starter whose hoping to return to action after missing two games with a foot injury. Arizona State has a strong chance at pulling the upset if Kelly is healthy, but they need plenty to go right for that to happen which makes the Stanford Cardinal the smart sports betting pick.

Pick: Stanford
