They figured out how to smother Tom Brady, hit him hard and make sure that they always were in his face, and then when he started to get frazzled, out comes Pac Man to seal the deal.
This week the Bills are going to have to do what the Bengals were able to showcase against New England, perfection on defense. Sure, Lewis will have a lot riding on his start, as he has leap frogged his way into a starting position, but that’s not all. The Bills need to move forward and take on a surging Bengals offense and defense that are firing on all cylinders and are surprising a lot of people with their work.
The Match Up.
Doug Marrone has already gone on record to state that Lewis will be the best possible option for the team to win. This confidence is definitely a positive thing, as they have gone through some stellar moments this season and were able to play against some good teams, even when they were listed as underdogs.
The Bills have been inconsistent at times, which worries many. Even with the change up, look for the inconsistent play on both sides of the field to catch up with both of these teams. Special teams and turnovers will be a factor here as both teams have downsides to their overall game. With that in mind, consider the Bengals winning this one, unless Lewis shines as a the right man for the QB position and leader in Buffalo
