Looking at this week’s odds the New York Jets are officially one of the worst teams of the season with the Broncos vs. Jets betting line set at Denver -10.5.  The last time the Jets were this big of a home underdog was….well….when they were just as bad back in the 1990’s.

Bill Parcels was eventually hired and stuck around a short time but since his tenure, New York has shown some signs of life though they’ve never quite made it to the realms of serious playoff contender.  Now New York is without a decent quarterback while the rest of the team is starting to come unraveled.

The Jets' longest completion last week was 8 yards downfield, and only one of their nine passes traveling more than 10 yards downfield was on target.

The Denver Broncos have won six of the last ten in this series including 17-13 at home in their last meeting in 2011.  Though Denver routed a solid Arizona team last year, that was the first game of the season they covered.  New York has yet to cover a game this season.

BetDSI.com has its free pick for the Broncos vs. Jets game below.
