They will need to establish a good balance between the run and passing games, and Ryan will need to look for more targets. The more he can diversify the offense, the better chances he will have.
Meanwhile the Panthers need to continue their surge with the run. The running game and Cam Newton’s spot on passing at times is something that has teams scratching their heads. The scores have favored Carolina at times because of the upside that Cam Newton brings. Even though his accuracy can be quite hit and miss, he still has enough to get the job done. While Ryan has to be perfect Newton can maintain a level of mediocrity that will propel the team to victory, which means the supporting cast is doing quite well.

Week 9 is shaping up to be an interesting one for the NFL and these two teams are going to be pursing an interesting landscape. The Falcons will need to prepare for a Carolina team that wants a shot at the playoffs and would like to continue their streak. If the Falcons want to stay alive, they need to win more games and this could be a good one to start a momentum swing in their favor.
