49ers Better than Expected

Give us the parameters, the facts and let's put a plan together to attack it. That's as deep as it gets with me."
Steelers Expect to Bounce Back
The Pittsburgh Steelers knew their season opener in New England would be difficult and they didn’t play well enough to win. They have had extra time off to get ready for this game since their season opener was on a Thursday. Head coach Mike Tomlin said his team will learn from the mistakes in the opener and be better this week. “I think that’s going to be evident,” said Tomlin. “I think you learn a lot about yourself after having fielded a team inside a stadium. We will get an opportunity to see our responses to the things that transpired Thursday night as we step into this one. We are going to know a lot more in that regard as we make the necessary adjustments after having played 60 minutes of football.”
