Marshall Thundering Herd -4

Connecticut Huskies +4

Total: 43

Marshall Thundering Herd 9-3 SU, 7-5 ATS

The Thundering Herd didn’t play well down the stretch as they lost two of their past three games. The Thundering Herd averaged 33 points per game and allowed about 18 per contest. Marshall is definitely overrated as they beat just one team this season that had a winning record. The Thundering Herd were blown out by Western Kentucky as they lost 49-28 to lose the East Division title. The top player for Marshall is linebacker Evan McKelvey who had 113 tackles, second best in Conference USA. The Thundering Herd went under in 8 of their 12 games this season.

Connecticut Huskies 6-6 SU, 5-7 ATS

The Huskies were able to get to six wins by upsetting Houston in late November. It is all about defense for the Huskies as they allowed just 19.8 points per game which was 17th in the country. They were 21st best in the country against the pass. Cornerback Jamar Summers is third in the country with seven interceptions. The Huskies only scored 17.8 points per game this season so they did well to finish 6-6. The Huskies will be trying to finish the season with a winning record, something they haven’t done since 2010. The Huskies were a great team to bet under the total with 10 of their 12 games going under.
