NC State Wolf Pack +5

Mississippi State Bulldogs -5

Total: 58.5

NC State Wolfpack 7-5 SU, 6-6 ATS

The Wolfpack started the season at 4-0 against a bunch of creampuffs and then they were exposed in losses to Louisville and Virginia Tech. The Wolfpack did play top-ranked Clemson tough but they still ended up losing by 15 points. The Wolfpack have a good quarterback in Jacoby Brissett but no running attack and no quality receivers. The team somehow scored 34 points per game this season but they allowed 24 per contest. NC State went over the total six times and under the total six times. NC State is simply a paper tiger as they almost never beat winning teams. They are 2-21 against teams that finished the year with a winning record under head coach Dave Doeren.

Mississippi State Bulldogs 8-4 SU, 7-5 ATS

The Bulldogs scored about 33 points per game while allowing 23 per contest. They have a quality quarterback in Dak Prescott who is having an even better season than a year ago when he finished 8th in the Heisman race. He should have a big game against a questionable NC State defense. The Bulldogs went under the total in 7 of their 12 games this season. When Mississippi State is motivated they can be an excellent team but far too often this team just isn’t properly prepared.
