Prediction-Markets Race Heats Up as Robinhood and Crypto.com Hold Talks

Saturday July 25, 2026 (11:45 am EDT)

Deal could put the brokerage firm in more direct competition with Kalshi.  Robinhood and Crypto.com are reportedly in discussions that could significantly reshape the prediction markets industry. According to a report published today, the companies are exploring a deal that would allow Robinhood customers to access Crypto.com's prediction markets directly through the Robinhood platform. The talks are ongoing, and there is no guarantee an agreement will be finalized.  The proposed arrangement would make Crypto.com's exchange another source of event contracts inside Robinhood. Today, Robinhood already routes prediction markets through exchanges such as Kalshi, ForecastEx and Rothera Exchange.

The footage shows traders partying at a mansion in Las Vegas while watching the recent World Cup final and touting their winnings on prediction sites, including Kalshi. It’s unclear where and when the trades featured in the trailer were placed.
