NYC Mayoral Race Flips Favorites as Zohran Mamdani Now at 4-5 Odds, Trump Gets Ratings Bump

When NYC mayor odds were first released on September 27, 2024, Zohran Mamdani's chances were set at 28/1 and Andrew Cuomo's were 50/1.

Today, those guys are the frontrunners.

Eric Adams' odds have gone largely unchanged since last year, slightly improving from 12/1 then to 11/1, currently. 

Curtis Sliwa, the only other person on BetOnline.ag's wagering board was initially given 40/1 odds, but is now listed at 55/1. 

It's worth nothing that Cuomo became as much as a 1/5 (-500) odds-on favorite April 2. He maintained that position until last week before bets on Mamdani began to flood in.

n other political odds movement news, President Donald Trump’s approval rating projections got a slight boost following the U.S. attacks against Iran.

Prior to this weekend, Trump’s over/under rating for August 1 was set at 44.5. Now, we’re looking at a full point higher. There are also odds for Trump’s approval rating on the first day of 2026.
