In an email sent Monday, FanDuel urged its members to register to vote and then vote against politicians like Schneiderman who “think they can score political points by taking away your right to play fantasy sports.”

Schneiderman’s office responded by saying that "Anyone who thinks that this attorney general is going to budge because of an Uber-style political campaign is sorely mistaken.”

“If these politicians know we’ll hold them accountable at the polls, they’ll have to listen to us,” FanDuel said in its Monday email. “But the first step is getting registered to vote.”

Estimates suggest that, between the two companies, there are over one million customers that play Daily Fantasy Sports in New York.
