Early Tuesday morning, oddsmakers had made real estate mogul and reality television star Donald Trump a lock to win the GOP New Hampshire Primary at -2000 odds.  A $200 bet would be required to win $10 (that $200 was refunded with his win)Trump, along with Democrat Bernie Sanders, were both projected as winners by 8 pm EST at the exact time polling at closed.

Trump enjoyed a strong lead in the polls heading into Tuesday’s Primary.  A new Emerson College poll found Trump at 31 percent.  Apprimately that same percentage was backing Trump at online gambling establishments.

In terms of odds, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush came in second place at 16 percent, but the next three GOP rivals trailed closely behind him. Ohio Gov. John Kasich follows with 13 percent, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) at 12 percent, and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) at 11 percent.

Sanders was an even bigger favorite than Trump on the Democratic side, coming in with -7000 odds while Hillary Clinton would have piad out $150 for every $10 had she won.
