With 99 percent of the vote in, real estate magnate Donald Trump was up a mere 41.2 percent to Texas Senator Ted Cruz at 38.8 percent.

Too close to call.  Well, by 1 am EST Trump was called as the technical winner.  It remains to be seen if this is contested and if bets are paid out immediately.

And unlike the Democratic race, also close in Missouri as of the overnight hours, the GOP delegate count matters much more in a tight race.  In fact, the actual winner could receive another 12 delegates.

For gamblers this was expected to be a tight race with Ted Cruz.

Trump had odds of winning Missouri set at -160 with Cruz coming in at +130.
