Former Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman from Connecticut is now the frontrunner to become the next FBI Director.  Oddsmakers at BetOnline posted odds on Lieberman Thursday, offering a pretty respectable price of -160.

Lieberman, who ran alongside Al Gore during the 2000 Presidential race, now works at the same law firm with Marc Kasowitz, Trump's longtime lawyer in New York.

It is the later that could have some Democratic Congresspersons concerned.  Likewise, Lieberman now considers himself an Independent with close friendships to Republican Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain.

A White House spokesman declined to comment when asked by Politico.

A Lieberman appointment to FBI Director would be a big win for BetOnline, which has already taken countless number of bets on who will fill the position of fired former Director Jim Comey, none of which were going towards Lieberman.
