Gordon Brown

Ireland's largest online bookmaker, Paddy Power, believes U.K. Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, will remain in his current role until March 2010.

Paddy has Gordon Brown out of office some time between March 2010 and June 2010 with ½ odds.

For those who think he will be gone prior to December of this year, that bet would pay US$400 for every US$100 bet.

U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown will come under further pressure at the Labour Party conference in September, Business Secretary Peter Mandelson told the Daily Telegraph.

"There is a small group who keep coming back," Mandelson told the newspaper. "They won't be reconciled to the Prime Minister's leadership." U.K. Foreign Secretary David Miliband told the Guardian today that the Labour Party needs to be prepared for the "fight of our life."

Brown's Labour party suffered the most humiliating defeat in its history June 4.
