  • Presumptive Democratic nominee used backdrop of Donald Trump’s failed casino to slam the GOP presumptive nominee
  • Clinton also took the time to trash New Jersey’s embattled Governor and top Trump surrogate Chris Christie
  • Visit comes day after Clinton called “extremely careless” by FBI Director in handling of classified emails while Secretary of State
  • Trump odds slashed from 3-1 to 2-1 at William Hill Tuesday

Hillary Clinton did not hold back in slamming Donald Trump and one of his most high-profile surrogates, the state's governor, Chris Christie, with the backdrop being the real estate billionaire and GOP presumptive candidate’s failed Trump Plaza Casino.

"If your governor will start doing his job instead of following Donald Trump around, holding his coat, maybe we could really get New Jersey's economy moving again," Clinton said to cheers from the crowd.

She hit Trump for "multiple bankruptcies, stiffing contractors and spurring hundreds of job losses" during his time owning casinos in Atlantic City.

The visit comes just one day after FBI Director James Comey recommended not prosecuting Mrs. Clinton for her mishandling of classified emails while Secretary of State.  In so doing, Comey also issued a scathing opinion on the matter, calling Clinton “extremely careless”.

Trump has come under fire in recent days himself after he tweeted a graphic critical of Hillary Clinton that featured a six-pointed star, a pile of cash and the words "most corrupt candidate ever."  Critics were quick to pile on suggesting the image was anti-Semitic and appeared on a white supremacist message board 10 days earlier.

Odds for Trump had gotten slashed from 3-1 to 2-1 at William Hill.  Clinton’s odds had shifted to 2-5 from 1-3 at that same bookmaker.
