Zen Entertainment Adds New Suite of MAC and PC Compatible Browser-Based

Zen Entertainment (ZEN) has announced that its brand partners, including South Point Casino’s South Point Poker website, can now offer their customers the opportunity to play through a new suite of MAC and PC-compatible browser-based applications.  The network is expected to become iPad compatible in the coming weeks.

Zen offers a free-to-play online poker network.  South Point is currently utilizing the Zen platform but is said to be developing its own “real cash” proprietary Web card room in advance of US legalization, either at the federal or state level.  South Point Casino is located in Las Vegas, Nevada.  That state has already legalized intrastate online poker for real cash.

Craig S Billings, Chief Executive Officer of ZEN explains, "This launch represents a milestone in the evolution of our network.  Players can now join tournaments from an intuitive, 'instant access' browser application or through the more traditional, 'poker-centric' downloadable application.  Interface flexibility is increasingly important as we position our network to serve the social games player, the 'freemium' player and, ultimately, the wager-focused player."
