The launch date for Caesars Interactive’s WSOP.com online poker website was to be revealed today (Monday, September 16, 2013).

WSOP.com is expected to be only the second real money online poker site to go live within the state of Nevada following in the footsteps of Station Casinos backed Ultimate Poker.

A notice was sent out to press agencies on Friday.

“More than 15 years in the making for the company, and 43 years after the World Series of Poker was first held, the WSOP brand will make its United States online real money poker debut soon.”

Caesars Interactive Entertainmen CEO Mitch Garber, Executive Director Ty Stewart, Head of Poker Billl Rini, and Vice President Seth Palansky, will hold a press conference on Monday to discuss the company's lofty plans for online poker dominance within the United States.

Caesars Entertainment already owns the World Series of Poker tournament.
