San Jose, Costa Rica – Expect to see a lot of poker players wearing the iconic red, white, and blue Americas Cardroom patch at this year's world's richest poker tournament. The US-facing online poker site today announced that it's guaranteeing 50 World Series of Poker packages worth $12,500 apiece through online qualifiers, and players can win one for as little as a penny.

"We'd love to see Americas Cardroom players sitting at the final table of the WSOP Main Event," stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "So we're going all in with $625,000 worth of WSOP packages. It's been a long times since US players have been able to easily win their way to the WSOP through an online qualifier and we're happy to make that happen in a big way."
The first 5 WSOP packages will be guaranteed on February 22nd, the same day as Winning Millions, which is the first $1 million online poker tournament to hit US shores in almost four years. With a $300,000 Second Chance tournament thrown into the mix, February 22nd promises to be very lucrative for online poker players.

Americas Cardroom will continue to guarantee packages through various online satellites leading up to the Main Event, which gets underway in Las Vegas this July. Each package includes the $10,000 Main Event buy-in plus $2,500 for travel and accommodations.
Satellites aren't the only way to win a seat in the World Series of Poker Main Event. Through Americas Cardroom's Spin To Get In feature, players can wager $0.01 for a shot at winning a $12,500 WSOP package.
"No other US poker site offers players the chance to turn a penny into a final table dream in Las Vegas," continued Harris. "This is a game changer."
