World Series of Poker Main Event Final Table Kicks Off This Evening

The big day is finally here.  The 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event final table kicks off this evening and all the poker world will be clamoring to find out who the next World Champion will be.

Here's the rundown for the action: Monday the players will convene at the Rio in the afternoon, player introductions will get underway around 4:30pm PT and cards will get in the air at 4:45pm PT.  At 5pm PT/8pm ET the action gets underway on ESPN2 here in the States and will continue throughout the night.  If you plan on DVRing the broadcast, be aware we will be going well over the three-hour window the event is scheduled for, so adjust your recording accordingly.

Now this is where you as fans have an option.  If you want to know what is going in real time, we will have live updates of every single hand of the action available on WSOP.com.  We will also be Tweeting about the action as it happens on @WSOP.  We'll Tweet some reminders throughout the day, but this is your first warning for spoilers--we will Tweet in real time.  If you are looking for more good follows on Twitter for the event, check out our November Niner list to keep tabs on how each of the players is doing.

If you are keen to enjoy the ESPN near-live broadcast of the action, we do highly advise you stay off Twitter though, as the action will be shown on a 15-minute delay with hole cards shown at the end of each hand, and there will be several outlets on site and Tweeting in real time.

Lon McEachern, Norman Chad, and Antonio Esfandiari will be calling the action on the broadcast with Marienela Pereira and 13-time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth going over the action on breaks.  Sideline reporter Kara Scott will also be on hand for what will certainly be a memorable night of poker.

Looking for whether or not your area will have TV coverage of the event tonight?  Here is a breakdown of what channels will have the action.  While countries like the US, Brazil, and Australia will get to see it live from the jump, Canadians will join the action two hours after it begins.
