Viktor Blom Joins Twitch Revolution: Will Represent Unibet

One of the bigger names in online poker, Viktor Blom, revealed this week that he will be the latest poker celebrity to join what is being called the Twitch Revolution.

The Swedish poker phenom is set to take to Twitch for the first time ever at 11:00 BST on Wednesday, May 27 for a 10-hour long session at Unibet's cash tables.

He is one of a handful of poker pros taking to the popular new social media streaming website.

Bertrand “Elkypoker” Grospellier has thus far lead the pack with the largest following on Twitch among his peers.

And it’s not just the big name players who have been embracing Twitch.

Phil Nagy, CEO of Americas Cardroom, was among the first to explore the streaming media.  It is not immediately clear whether his use of Twitch has correlated with the surging popularity of Americas Cardroom in recent months.

During his live feeds, Nagy takes questions from current and would-be customers of ACR. 

He once made headlines on G911 for appearing on the feed dressed only in his skivvies and a shirt.
