Online poker site UB.com is offering online satellites to compete in the Poker Pro Canada Classic II at the Four Aces Poker Club in Montreal, January 27th-30th.

MIAMI, FL (Marketwire), Monday, December 27, 2010 –UB.com has again partnered with the Poker Pro Canada Classic, and the leading online poker site will be sending over twenty players to compete in the second running of Montreal’s biggest poker event,  a $1500+150 buy-in No Limit Hold ‘em tournament at the Four Aces Poker Club on January 27th through 30th, 2011.

UB recently re-signed with presenting partners Poker Pro Media, and from January 2nd through 16th, 2011, the UB cardroom is qualifying players for the Poker Pro Classic II via a series of Super Satellites and Freerolls. UB.com’s online qualifiers give players a chance to win a $2500 prize package, including a seat at the $1,650 buy-in tournament, plus $850 for travel expenses to get to magnificent Montreal in Quebec, Canada.

Real money Super Satellites will run at UB in 2011 as follows:

·       Sunday, January 2nd & 9th @ 16:05 ET ($200+15 buy-in) 3 packages GTD

·       Wednesday, January 5th & 12th @ 21:00 ET ($200+15 buy-in) 3 packages GTD

·       Thursday, January 13th @ 20:30 ET ($300+20 buy-in) 1 package GTD

·       Sunday, January 16th @ 20:30 ET ($300+20 buy-in) 1 package GTD

Qualify for any of these Super Satellites on the day for as little as $10+1, and keep an eye out for more daily satellites added to the line-up the closer the Montreal live event draws near. With an anticipated field of 300-plus players, and an expected prize pool in the realm of $500,000, that’s half a million reasons to participate in the Four Aces Poker Pro Canada Classic.

There’s even a calendar of Regional Freerolls scheduled at UB.com, which will be open to residents of Ontario and Quebec provinces in Canada, and those living in the North American States of New York, Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire. Players who qualify can compete in these freerolls on Sunday January 2nd, 9th and 16th at 16:05 ET and Wednesday January 5th, 12th and 19th at 20:05 ET, with the winner of each walking away with a $2500 Poker pro Canada Classic II prize package.

The ‘Classic’ features three “day ones,” with those who bust on Day 1A given the chance to rebuy into the event on Day 1B, and again on Day 1C. The top 25 players of the field each day survive to fight it out at the felt in Sunday’s finale - for the title, the glory and the prize money.

UB.com will deliver over 20 players to the Four Aces Poker Club for next month’s sophomore event, which celebrates the nation’s leading poker publication, Poker Pro Canada magazine.  Players can also expect guest appearances by Team UB members, including Mark “P0ker H0” Kroon, who excelled in the inaugural Poker Pro Canada Classic event in April 2010.

Check the UB tournament lobby for satellite details, or visit http://www.ub.com/poker-promotion/poker-pro-canada-classic  for the full details of this promotion.
