Three WSOP Bracelets and He’s Just 22

This player is only 22 years old yet he’s already won three World Series of Poker bracelets.

Meet Adrian Mateos, who is already closing in on Carlos Mortensen's career tournament winnings.

"I will play every day because I love to play," the 2013 World Series of Poker Europe Main Event champ told PokerNews on Monday. "It's not work for me to play and I'm pretty happy when I play. I will take one week off before the Main Event, but I plan to play as much as I can."

Mateos, who arrived at the 2017 WSOP from San Martin de la Vega, Spain, is considered a poker prodigy.  He has already managed to win $9,172,532 in live tournament winnings and is $3 million back from Mortensen’s lifetime earnings.  Mortensen is Spain’s biggest money earner in the game of poker to date.

"It's insane that I have three bracelets," Mateos said. "It feels really good for sure. It's really difficult to win three bracelets and I'm 22. I run good and I think I play good, so that's all that matters."
