Aftonbladet, one of Sweden’s largest newspapers, celebrated this weekend following news that its native son, Martin Jacobson, will be taking part in the 2015 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Jacobson is the reigning champion and spoke exclusively to Gambling911.com’s intrepid reporter Thomas Somach in breaking the news.  Aftonbladet cites the G911 report.

"My plan, as always, is to play in all the no-limit Texas hold 'em events," Jacobson told G911.

And what does he think his chances are of repeating as Main Event champ?

"I think my chances to win the Main Event again are about 3,000-1, but with so many variables, it's really tough to estimate," Jacobson said.
