Following PokerStars controversial announced adjustment of its long time loyalty program, site traffic has dipped 3.3 percent.  It was not immediately clear if the drop had anything to do with the changes.

On November 1, PokerStars announced a reduction in its loyalty rewards for high stakes players.  This included capping VIP Club rewards at 30%.

While recreational players will see little impact, the targeted high stakes players have engaged in a full out revolt against Stars, some even calling for a player strike.

The website TheyKillPoker.com encourages players opposed to the changes to cash out their funds and move to another site.

Changes do not go into affect until January.
