Smith tweeted:

“I don't even know what to say. I'm in complete shock and can't thank everyone enough for all the support!”

Popular poker pro Brian Hastings was rumored to have come close to winning the $1 million.

Draftkings, which holds a significant chunk of the daily fantasy contest market along with rival FanDuel.com, offered the “Millionaire Maker” contest during Week 5 of the NFL.  The objective is to beat 92,399 other entries by accumulating the most fantasy points through the correct selection of players.   Smith’s players included the likes of Week 5 fantasy studs Peyton Manning, Demaryius Thomas and Antonio Gates.

This weekend Draftkings was offering the "Sunday 500 Grand", a $200 buy-in that also pays out $100,000 to the winner.
