Our bad here at Gambling911.com for not really reporting much about Kara Scott joining team PartyPoker last week.  It appears this is going to become a trend as Party looks to compete with a number of other online poker networks and rooms signing up big name players.

On Thursday, Party announced the signing of Australian Tony G, a player who has amassed an impressive $4 million in live poker tournaments to date.

Four other rooms in particular have been especially aggressive in signing up new pros of late:  UB.com, Doyles Room, Full Tilt and PokerStars among them (the later two have pretty much been dominant in recent years when it comes to cornering the professional player market).

Kara Scott has branding power for Party as a television presenter and new co-host of GSN's  popular"High Stakes Poker" show, replacing one time Gambling911.com reporter, AJ Benza.
