PartyPoker is back in the news today, announcing the return of an exciting promotion for players on its site. Last year, the Million Dollar Hand promotion took place and was met enthusiastically by the poker community. It began running this morning and will continue through October 30.

Details of the Million Dollar Hand Promo

How it works is simple, players just have to collect cards. For every 15 PartyPoker points they earn, they will receive 1 playing card. Players can easily view collected cards by looking at their account information. Once a player receives 5 cards, they can tell if they've won or lost. Cash prizes are awarded by simply making a pair, and each day, players can reveal 2 separate five-card hands. In total, they can earn up to 52 five-card hands during the month long promotion.

Should a player be fortunate enough to have made a royal flush, he or she will win the grand prize of a cool million dollars.

Party Poker Million Dollar Hand prizes:

Straight flush pays $10,000
Four of a kind pays $1,000
Full house pays $150
Flush pays $100
Straight pays $50
Three of a kind pays $20
Two pair pays $10
One pair pays $3.

Even without earning anything, all of PartyPoker's customers have already been awarded a free card. A spokesperson from PartyPoker said in a press release, "The Million Dollar Hand is underway and already thousands of cards have been revealed. The question remains - will the big one hit this time around? We've seen straight flushes and scared the insurers, but nobody has hit the royal... yet! The Million Dollar Hand also provides great extra value for members of the Palladium Lounge through the VIP Race."

The excitement will be building throughout the month as last time the promotion ran, no one won the grand prize. Hopeful players believe this time it could change.
