Merge Poker Network: She’s a Naughty Little Tease

Merge Poker Network

Waiting for the Merge Poker Network to re-enter the US market is like waiting for the fall of Gaddafi at this point, only it’s taking longer.

But you know the expression:  “Good things come to those who wait”.

For weeks, Merge’s couple dozen online poker skins have been saying that the network is expected to re-enter the US market any day now after leaving June 1 to boost its processing platform and increase customer service staffing.

Following the abrupt exits of PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and UB.com on April 15, Merge suddenly found itself the largest Internet poker company catering to the US player with its customer base more than doubling.  Merge entered the top 10 most trafficked networks in the world overnight.

But Merge continues to tease…and tease…and tease.

US Players Are Welcome to Join The Lock Casino While They Wait on the Poker Room to Open Here

Two weeks ago, the Sportsbook.com Group began allowing new US customers into its poker room.  This was widely viewed as a “test stage” to determine the ability of processing since Sportsbook.com accounts for the most volume in the network.  Last week, there were reports that Sportsbook.com had stopped accepting new players from the United States.  Lock Poker and Carbon are two of Merge’s other major online poker rooms that are yet to take on new US customers but expect to in a matter of days.

In many ways, Merge can be described as a temptress bringing male poker players to her knees.

Nietzsche’s view on woman is this….

One-half of mankind is weak, chronic- ally sick, changeable, shifty - woman requires . . . a religion of the weak which glorifies weakness, love and modesty as divine: or better still, she makes the strong weak - she succeeds in overcoming the strong.  Woman has always conspired with decadent types - the priests, for instance - against the "mighty," against the "strong," against men. Women avail themselves of children for the cult of piety .  .  .

Those inquiring at various online skins of Merge were told to check back in a few days.  Others were told Friday to check back at the start of this week.

Women have been painted as the temptress who uses their seductive power to lead men astray, and that is the role Merge is taking on now, that of a temptress, a seducer, a tease.  She is irresistible, insatiable.

In some ways, the relationship between Merge and the US poker player base can be best compared to Radha and Krishna, who longed for one another with a mounting sense of desolation.  Ultimately, Radha’s friend persuades her to abandon her modesty and stubbornness, her pride, and go to her lover.

Your full hips and breasts are heavy to bear.

Approach with anklets ringing!

Their sound inspires lingering feet.

Run with the gait of a wild goose!

Madhu's tormentor

Is faithful to you, fool.

Then there are those who just think Merge is being a bitch.  But to each their own.
