The first ever WSOP.com Online Championship has been won by Long Island City, New York resident Anthony Spinella, who long time Gambling911.com readers may recall was arrested back in October 2012 for possession of 20,000 LSD hits with intent to sell.  The arrest occurred in Framingham, Massachusetts. Hopefully Spinella has turned his life around especially now that he has won $197,743.

“It feels good to win this,” Spinella said of the gold bracelet victory.  “I’ve been playing for a long time now and always want to win one, so this really feels great.”

Spinella ironically had no intentions on playing in this event.  A friend had entered him. – Ace King, Gambling911.com
