Poker pro Julian Thew has won his third Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT title).  The tour is considered among the toughest on the United Kingdom poker scene.

Grosvenor UK Poker Tour.  He beat out a field of 145 to take home £42,740

The 44 year old “YoYo” had previous title wins in September 2007 and January 2008.

"'I'm totally thrilled to have scooped my third GUKPT title. It sure helped that I ran like Jamie Gold circa 2006 at the final table - I don't think I've ever quite played one like it before! I'd also like to thank the whole Sky Poker Team for having faith in me and signing me up to the site earlier this year. My next event will be the first leg of the Sky Poker Tour in a fortnight followed by the UKOPS series.'"

Thew is a Sky Poker pro who has won over $1.5 million in lifetime live tournaments.
