The Global Poker Index provided an update on the upcoming Global Poker Masters 2015 and GPI American Poker Awards coming up on February 27 in Los Angeles.
GPI's World Cup : The Global Poker Masters
Poker’s first legitimate Poker's World Cup will be held in 39 days with 8 countries competing via 5 player teams of each nation’s best professional poker players. With more than $135 Millions in total wins, 11 WSOP victories, 7 WPT Titles, 3 EPT titles the line-up is set to bring a lot of action on the event’s Live Stream, which will be distributed by several Sports & Digital partners. This is the "Ryder Cup" or "Davis Cup" of Poker - it’s a yearly event that is already scheduled for 4 days next year. #WeSportifyPoker

Offices : Malta, London, New York and an incubator
Currently based between Malta and London, GPI's teams will open an office in New York to expand our branding to the sports, media and tech companies. Meanwhile, we are moving our Maltese offices in a few weeks to a much larger property that will include our own TV studio to fit to our needs with the Global Poker Masters, the Global Poker League and our Media/Content partnerships.
Poker Incubator : Being an entrepreneur driven company, the 200 sqm extra-space has been reserved for Poker entrepreneurs to develop their projects in a friendly and understanding environment.
More than ever the Global Poker Index and its team will invest heavily in 2015 to pursue the ambition claimed 2 years ago, to Sportify Poker and to make it more mainstream.
