Georgios Zisimopoulos Leads EPT London After Day 1B

PokerStars player Georgios Zisimopoulos leads the 247 players who made it through Day 1b of the £4,250 EPT 11 London Main Event today. Zisimopoulos has 171,500 in chips, putting him in second place overall behind Day 1a's chip leader Anatoly Filatov from Russia on 173,900 as the tournament heads into Day 2. There were 444 entrants on Day 1b today making a grand total so far of 668. Players have until the start of Day 2 to buy in.

Among the 370 players who will be back for Day 2 are Team PokerStars Pros Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Victoria Coren Mitchell, Liv Boeree, Theo Jorgensen and Luca Pagano. They will join Day 1a survivors and fellow Team PokerStars Pros Johnny Lodden, Jason Mercier, Leo Margets, Eugene Katchalov, Johnny Lodden and Jake Cody, Team PokerStars SportStar Fatima Moreira de Melo, Team Online's Isaac Haxton and PokerStars-sponsored 2014 PCA champion Dominik Panka. Also among the field is one Daniel Colman, who bought in to the tournament with little more than an hour left of Day 1b. Colman's recent run is truly mind boggling. He has well over $20 million in tournament cashes so far this year.

Last season Swedish pro Robin Ylitalo defeated a 604-strong field for a £560,980 first prize. 87 players snagged a share of the £2,929,400 prize pool.
