The very first Las Vegas casino to launch its own online poker room is South Point Casino and that takes place later on Thursday (October 5, 2011).  However, Gambling911.com has been provided with an exclusive look at the new site here.

Level Media was the agency selected by South Point to build the new online poker room.  It is now live.

South Point Poker will offer a play-for-free registration online poker platform in anticipation of legalization within the USA.

South Point Poker is owned by gaming legend Michael Gaughan, and is the exclusive online poker room to the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The site will offer opportunities to win up to $100,000 per month while offering a number of cross-promotions between the land-based operation and online poker site.

Mr. Gaughan is a huge supporter of legalized Internet poker in the States.

“This is an experiment for me,” Gaughan said. “I’m just getting my feet wet but I expect that down the line I am going to be applying for an intrastate license.”
