Good news for those Full Tilt Poker players owed money in the US.  Following an over two year wait, the payout process will begin this coming Monday, September 16 (2013).

Several million dollars is owed to former customers of Full Tilt Poker after that beleaguered company was forced to exit the US market on April 15, 2011 in the wake of a Justice Department indictment.

On Monday, affected players can submit a Petition for Remission. Instructions are available at FullTiltPokerClaims.com.

The Garden City Group is overseeing the process on behalf of the US Government.  Remission claims will be accepted for a two month period, then there is some degree of uncertainty.

Poker Players Alliance Director John Pappas told PocketFive.com: "I'm optimistic based on our conversations with the DOJ that payments will be expedited, particularly for those cases where there isn't an issue with a claim.
