A highly anticipated hearing to determine the fate of what had been the world’s second largest online poker room, Full Tilt Poker, will take place on Tuesday (July 26, 2011) and Quadjacks.com will be covering it via their live podcast around the clock, Gambling911.com has learned.

The Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) will determine whether to reinstate Full Tilt Poker’s license during this hearing.  Full Tilt Poker could become operational as a result and begin paying back customers, many of which have not seen any payments since April 15.  On that date, the US Justice Department charged two executives of FTP with money laundering and bank fraud.

Reports circulated that a group of mysterious European investors were looking to purchase Full Tilt Poker, however, news broke last week that these individuals were only interested in taking control of the United Kingdom and Ireland assets.

From Quadjacks.com:

We heard rumors over the weekend that Full Tilt Poker had in fact been sold to the investors, but we did not think for one minute to make that public due to the track records of Full Tilt Poker’s “sources”. They have been blowing smoke up our asses for weeks now, every rumor just trying to buy more time. I have said it before and I will say it again: until Full Tilt Poker or the investors make an official public statement, I will not believe any of the leaked rumors from the Full Tilt Poker camp.

The hearing is scheduled to take place in a posh London hotel.  Quadjacks.com will begin its marathon coverage at Noon Pacific Standard Time Monday.  The popular podcast has reporters on the scene who will presumably be in attendance at the hearing.
